Five more minutes - Montebello, Italy, 2025
This mural represents a suspended moment between dream and everyday life. The young woman rests on a layered arrangement of blankets and cushions, surrounded by plates, fruit, and small objects that seem to float within an intimate, personal space. Among these elements appears a birdhouse, a recurring symbol in my work, representing the idea of home not as a physical place, but as a feeling of belonging.
Having lived away from Italy for an extended period, I came to understand that home can exist wherever one feels balanced, welcomed, and at peace.
The composition emerged from a spontaneous, instinctive gesture rather than a purely conceptual one, an overlap of images and sensations meant to invite the viewer to reconnect with their own idea of home.
